Hyperlink in hyperlink

Probably silly questions, but I would like to have a hyperlink with another hyperlink very similar to

<a href="#somewhere">
  This is the hyperlink,
  <a href="somewhere_else.html">and this is the other one</a>
</a>

Also, this is incompatible and that’s it, is there any way to do this?

* Edit: an external hyperlink is used by the carousel and will not take the browser anywhere.

Anchor tags, like built-in or block levels, overlap each other when they are nested, so attributes can be set for different subsets of information or the visual space within them. This can be useful if you have a large anchor element that functions like a big button, but you want to insert the link in another place inside this button.

You cannot attach it, but you can do what I did below.

<a href="somewhere">
  This is the hyperlink,</a>
  <a href="somewhere_else">and this is the other one</a>
