Datatables does not filter the amount of the amount on the footer

I use datatables to show some data in my admin panel.

but when I use the search parameter to filter the results, it does not affect the sum of the footer amount, and the amount remains the same as it is? any idea how to solve it?

You need to use selector-modifier for column () to request filtered columns only with { search:'applied' } . By default, column() returns all data for all pages of the current order without filtering. Using selector-modifier , you can change this behavior.

The total amount for rows that match the current search applied to the table on all pages:

Update : total_revenue must be set to 0 for the code to work when there is no data in the table.

When you use column(2) , you target the column for all rows, as well as those that are not displayed. You need to use column(2, {search:'applied'}) to work only with those columns that were visible in the search / filter.
