New Google Sheets: Set Text Wrap to Clip

Question

There is a new text wrapping mode called Clip in the new Google Sheets;

alas, getWraps () / setWraps still works with boolean values. when I set the bypass value to true, the text in this cell is displayed in overflow mode. I did not find any traces of any new function to set the text wrapping to Clip.

Does anyone know how to deal with this?

Try using copyTo (destination) to insert a cell with the clip wrapper mode in the destination cell, and then change the other properties of the range.
