Facebook leaderboard

I was wondering if anyone has any useful guides for implementing Facebook ratings in an Android game. I am currently creating a profile in the game, but there are many functions in the SDK and Graph APIs that I do not know how to use.

Is anyone familiar with posting ratings and getting your Facebook friends' leaderboards?

You can create your own leaderboard - store ratings in your database, calculate rank, etc. and use the standard actions of the open graph for publication on the walls of users.

Alternatively, you can use the Facebooks scores API , which handles a lot for you, however it does have its limitations. You can also use the Achievements API , which allows you to publish streaming stories to the users timeline, for example, "Joe only unlocked the Star icon."

Finally, you can use a third-party tool such as Leaderboarded , although I'm not sure how appropriate this is for your game.

As for the useful guide, I found it to be better / more relevant for providing third-party leaders, and not for global leaders, as they are often more interesting to the user.
