How to check the approximate size of the app store app in Xcode

I did it, but I did not do it after a while, and I added it to my game. Do not remember where on Xcode I can check the approximate size of the app store of my application.

I connected the iPhone to my mac. I clicked on Windows, Devices expected him to be there, but it is not. I do not remember.

Where on Xcode can I check the approximate size of the app store for my app?

The Organizer has this feature for Archives. So you need to create an archive:

  • Product> Archive (you need to select an iOS device layout, which means you need a valid signature authentication setting)
  • Window> Organizer
  • Select the Archives tab.
  • Select your archive and in the detail view of the header click on "Estimate Size"

To find out what file size the user will download from the App Store, you need to do the following.

  • Archive your application
  • Export your archive for off-site testing. enter image description here enter image description here

  • Select "Export for specific devices" and select "All compatible device options" from the pop-up menu. enter image description here

  • Select Recover From Bit Code.

  • In the output folder, you will find the App Thinning Size Report.txt, which splits the compressed and uncompressed file sizes, as well as the size of any resources on demand for each type of device.

See apple docs for more information.

The organizer in xcode no longer displays this information for any reason. However, if you archive your project in the organizer, right-click the file that you archived and click "show in search", and you can see its size when you right-click and select "get information".

I do not see "Size Estimates" in Xcode (version 7.0.1).

Following josefdlange, I can find "Show in Finder ..." when I click on the header detail view (small icon).
