How to make a full window of a virtual window in full screen mode

I have two monitors and a virtual machine in a virtual box with two displays, which gives me two separate windows. Is it possible to make only one of these VirtualBox windows full screen?

If you want the virtual machine window to be full-screen, you need to install the Guest Additions package in your virtual machine. For this you need:

  1. After you have launched your virtual machine, in the top menu, select "Devices β†’ Install Guest Add-ons". After that, .iso guest add-ons will be downloaded.

  2. You will see .iso loaded as a CD image. Run it and it will start the installation process in the Terminal. Follow the instructions until the end of the installation process.

  3. Reboot your VM.

After that, you can make the virtual machine window full-screen or any other size.

I also ran into the same problem.

I installed form 6.0.8 here on my Windows computer and then installed Ubuntu-19.04.

When I started it, a small screen window appeared.

I have searched for this in many articles such as-

  1. https://askubuntu.com/questions/314685/is-there-a-way-to-make-a-fullscreen-on-virtualbox
  2. https://superuser.com/questions/930184/maximizing-window-for-virtual-machine-in-virtualbox
  3. https://askubuntu.com/questions/22743/how-do-i-install-guest-additions-in-a-virtualbox-vm

The last article advised me to install guest add-ons from Virtual Box, but that didn't work either.

the solution was very small and easy-

  1. Log in to the machine with Ubuntu.
  2. Look for settings > Devices .
  3. Resolution changed as 1920 x 1200 .
  4. Click Apply .
  5. Select " save configuration ."

This gave the desired result.
Note- You may have a different regularization size. sometimes may not have the appropriate permission.

Hope to help you!
