Reset Lucee Server Admin Password

I installed Lucee recently and cannot remember the password that I set for the server administrator (luceee / admin / server.cfm).

How can I reset the server admin password?

  • In the server configuration file (lib / ext / lucee-server / context / lucee-server.xml), remove the hspw and salt attributes from the cfLuceeConfiguration tag
  • Restart lucee
