IOS video preview not saved in iTunes Connect

I created a video of my iOS game using quicktime, processed it and exported it with iMovie iOS preview settings. Although I can upload the video to iTunes Connect and play it there successfully, you can select the frame of the poster, but it says: “Your file cannot be uploaded, try again,” and when I save the page, the video is not saved.

I recorded in the iPhone 5C at Resolution: 1136 × 640 at 30 frames per second, Codecs: AAC, H.264, Duration: 0.29 seconds.

I already followed the handbrake and other approaches mentioned here - Failed to load application preview in iTunes connect , but in vain.

Please let me know if there is any sure way to download the video to preview the application.

I also had this problem, and I decided to use a free application called HandBrake to re-encode my mp4 video with the specifications described in developer.apple.com

I basically just changed these settings:

  • Video Codec (FPS): H.264 (x264)
  • Video Framerate (FPS): 30
  • Audio Codec for: AAC (Core Audio)
  • Audio Mixdown to: Stereo
  • Audio Sampling Rate to: 44.1
  • Audio Bitrate: 256

We also had this problem, and we could not come up with a file that would work.

As it turned out, the video was good all the time, but iTunes Connect has a very short download time window. Downloading a 39-megabyte file onto an ADSL connection with a download of 800 Kbps is apparently not enough. (it didn’t even work with a shorter, less quality 13 megabyte file). Everything worked perfectly at first glance through the personal access point of the iPhone 3G with a download speed of 4 Mbps.

Of course, this is not what the error message says. Sigh.

and set the following

vid bitrate: 10240

frame rate: 30

sound quality: 256

This is due to a poor Internet connection, you need to wait a few minutes until the "Save" button is highlighted, so let it be processed and when the save button is highlighted, save it to successfully download.
