The application's heap size is good, and objects get garbage collected as expected. However, the heap size continues to grow, and eventually the VM crashes.

Problem frame:
A profiler like JProfiler shows what is in the heap and how are they distributed? What is the best way to troubleshoot?
I look at the JProfiler footman coach, but I'm not sure that you can see what's on the heap anyway.
