Android - LocationManager vs FusedLocation

Question

I tried Fused Location (GoogleApiClient) and it was inaccurate when I got the place, it gave me my previous location, even when I asked for a new (current), I asked for 10 requests (to be as accurate as possible), but after 4-6 times, he simply stopped requesting and the ones he received were very inaccurate (accuracy 881 m).

On the other hand, when using the LocationManager it always gave me my location more or less, it never stopped in the middle for no reason and was generally much more stable.

So, how is a smooth location better than a location manager?

Weird !!! Fused location should be faster and should provide a more accurate location.

• Make sure you request location updates.

  LocationServices.FusedLocationApi.requestLocationUpdates( mGoogleApiClient, mLocationRequest, this);

  instead of getting the last known location

  mLastLocation = LocationServices.FusedLocationApi.getLastLocation( mGoogleApiClient);

• and you use LocationRequest.PRIORITY_HIGH_ACCURACY (GPS).

  The main difference between Fused location and Location Manager is that the latter is not dependent on Google Play Services
