Firefox and RequireJS still pull out of the cache even when the toolbar is opened

I am using FirefoxDeveloperEdition 36 on OSX 10.10.1. I turned on the option "Disable cache (when the toolbar is open)" on the toolbar settings panel:

Disable Cache (when toolbox is open) is enabled

However, I don’t see my changes until I manually clear the cache using Settings => Privacy => clear your recent history , even if I open the toolbar.

I am using RequireJS to load my script dependencies. It seems that other people had problems with RequireJS and caching , so I assume this is the main problem.

Does this option not work as promised, or am I doing something wrong? I would like to avoid, if possible, urlArgs workaround .

I did not notice this behavior in any other browser.

This is a known bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1129806

Be sure to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox, as some aspects of the error have already been fixed.
