Check if my computer has a BIOS password (via VB / C #)

I am making a checklist in my domain. I was wondering if there is a way to get the BIOS status of the computer, especially the status of the BIOS password. I want to know if the computer has a BIOS password or not, without turning it off.

for Dell computers, you can check if there is a password.
