External menu button ui-grid-menu

Question

I want to separate ui-grid-menu-button from ui-grid-menu . Thus, the column selection buttons will be in a different place. I tried to set the clock to toggleMenu function and click on my button, it should start and should open the list. I also tried using the broadcast option, but it does not work.

What is the best way to do this?

I answered the same question here . Thanks @ pilar1347 for the tip, my solution is a bit less hacked.
