What is an SLA for one instance virtual machine at a basic / standard level Azure Website

It was set up differently last year, but it did not receive an authoritative answer.

The updated version of the SLA says: “We guarantee that all websites that work under the customer’s subscription will respond to customer requests in 99.95% of cases. No SLA is provided for websites either at free or at general levels.

Does this unambiguously mean that the SLA for a single VM instance at the base / standard level of the Azure Website is 99.95%? If not, what is confidence?

Yes, the SLA for any Azure site at the basic or standard level is 99.95%

Just one copy of the site is enough

The answer from mvark contradicts what is said in the SLA page, which clearly states that you need several instances and a traffic manager of 99.95%:

We guarantee that Web Apps, Mobile Apps, Logic Apps, and the APIs that work under the customer’s subscription will be available in 99.9% of cases, and 99.95% SLA is provided when using multiple instances and a traffic manager. SLA is not provided for applications or sites at a free or general level.

For any service PaaS SLA is integrated. Thus, websites or web applications in application services internally managed to run with multiple instances; through application service plans. For you, this is only one instance, and there can be several instances or common instances behind the scene. Thus, you get SLA for both a single instance and for web applications. This does not apply to the Azure virtual machine world. In this case, SLA and HA are two different things.
