Failed to register com.apple.coreservices.lsuseractivity.simulatorsupport service

My OS version is 10.9.5 and I installed Xcode Version 6.0.1 (6A317)

After installation, the first time you start Xcode, a pop-up error message is displayed "/Applications/Xcode/Contents/Developer/Platform/iphonesimulator.platforms/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator.sdk/usr/lib/dyld_sim does not belong to root"

Then I check the owner of this file for 'ls -l dyld_sim' it shows the root: wheel (Feeling nice)

But

When I try to run my simulator, I am stuck on this. A black screen will appear, and a pop-up window will display the error message โ€œDevice status is incorrectโ€

When I open the console, an error message is displayed

"Failed to register com.apple.coreservices.lsuseractivity.simulatorsupport service: Could not find com.apple.coreservices.lsuseractivity.simulatorsupport"

Can someone please help me on this, how to solve this problem?

I solved this problem by updating my OSX version to 10.10. Now it works great.

Just a relaxed solution here. Open a terminal and just type this command. sudo xcode-select -switch / Applications / Xcode.app / Contents / Developer

enjoy :)
