I see the strange behavior of one of my UIAlertViews that I have not seen before. When it is shown on iOS8.0.2, it appears on a white background, then it gets a transparency effect. As I show it against a black background, an instant flash appears when the background becomes translucent.
Is there a way to disable the translucent background for iOS8's own notification views?
