Uber Deeplinking on iOS

I'm trying to create a deep link that will open the application, set the pickup location to the current location and the dropdown address in Uber HQ.

Here is what I have:

uber: // action = setPickup & pickup = my_location & leave the car [formatted_address] = 1455% 20Market% 20st% 2C% 20San% 20Francisco% 2C% 20CA% 2094103

Unfortunately, the destination address is not populated once in the application.

Hey, I ran into the same problem, and that’s the way I earned it. First, you need to add the client id to the url. Therefore, in your case, change

uber://?action=setPickup&pickup=my_location&dropoff[formatted_address]=1455%20Market%20St%2C%20San%20Francisco%2C%20CA%2094103

to

 uber://?client_id=YOUR_CLIENT_ID&action=setPickup&pickup=my_location&dropoff[formatted_address]=1455%20Market%20St%2C%20San%20Francisco%2C%20CA%2094103

where YOUR_CLIENT_ID is the customer identifier provided to you by Uber.

To get the client ID, you must register your application with Uber at https://developer.uber.com/ .

Hope this helps!

The dropout address will be displayed as soon as the user drops contact to select the location of his pickup.
