IPhone6 โ€‹โ€‹/ 6plus status bar hidden

This is an extension of this thread regarding the display of the status bar for iOS8. Unfortunately, I needed to turn on my applications to display the status bar in landscape orientation regardless of whether it was fixed or rotating.

With the response to this thread , the behavior on the iPhone6 โ€‹โ€‹Simulator (not sure on the device itself at the moment), the status bar is not displayed. However, when the application resumes from another application or the main screen, it is displayed. This is normal?

No, thatโ€™s not normal, but you donโ€™t have to worry much about using the beta version of Xcode 6. If you are using the final version, I would recommend creating a new project after checking that Xcode is up to date and if the simulator gives the same results . Try simulators for other devices. If nothing works, it is related to the code. Keep in mind that the simulator does not necessarily emulate the real device the same way, I had an orientation error in one of my applications that have not been seen on the last device recently.
