VMNET0 missing in vmware 10 workstation virtual network editor

Question

I installed VMware-workstation-full-10.0.3-1895310 on Windows 8.1. Although the VMware Brige protocol is enabled on my LAN adapter, I still cannot add and switch VMNET0 to bridge mode.

It says: "It is not possible to change the network to a bridge: there are no incompatible host network adapters"

So far I have tried the following things:

• I reinstalled it many times.
• I have default settings for virtual network editor
• It was also noted that the Vmware bridge protocol is enabled.
• Check if the vmnetbridge service is running or not.

I also had this problem. I also launch Kaspersky AV and tried the bigapple99 offer and disabled Kaspersky Antivirus NDIS 6 filter . This led to the network adapter appearing in the editor, but did not fix the problem. I noticed that I started the editor as an administrator when it appeared, so I tried to start VMWare Workstation as an administrator. It worked! I tried to install the Kaspersky filter and again open the VMWare workstation as an administrator, and it still works :) It’s best to work, I just started as Administartor.

I had the same problem after updating Windows 10. "Repair" The version of VMware workstation fixed the problem. I am using VMware Workstation 11.1.3.

In the Bridge-to-Wire network editor, nothing appears in the drop-down list (at least it should show "Automatic"). Can you try disabling the Kaspersky Anti-Virus NDIS 6 filter in the LAN property to find out if your NIC appears in the editor?

I had the same problem today, and I thought I would get back to you since no one answered your post.

My problem came from Kaspersky AV.

• Remove VMWare
• Delete Kaspersky AV
• Restore VMWare
• Reinstall Kaspersky
