My RPi B + runs Raspbian, connected to my LG TV via HDMI. I successfully compiled and installed cec-client, and I can easily turn on the TV using the echo "on 0" | cec-client -s echo "on 0" | cec-client -s , however, when I try to disable tv using the echo "standby 0" | cec-client -s command echo "standby 0" | cec-client -s echo "standby 0" | cec-client -s , I get this output:

And nothing happens. I also use only the CLI, and after a while RPi put the TV in an empty splash screen, but I canβt figure out how to do this on my command.
