Connect two Android phones with a USB cable

I want to connect two phones with a USB cable and use the ADB command, for example adb devices , adb shell from one phone, as between a PC and an Android phone. I tried with an OTG-supported cable that has two micro-USB plug-ins, but that didn't work. Trying with a different shared cable (not OTG) with two micro-USB plug-ins didn't work either. adb devices always fails with the message β€œno device connected at all” on both phone A and phone B.

Does anyone have any experience? Which cable is needed?

It is possible between some phones.

  • But at least one of them must have OTG support.
  • and you need an OTG connector (also a USB cable)

I will give a detailed explanation only in case of communication failure:

Yes, if you need to transfer data between two phones, such as nu data GB You have at least one OTG-enabled phone and you were looking for a PC to transfer data or try to use Wi-Fi sharing applications trust me this is an npc solution - less transfers and EVEN U CAN BORTOW YOUR FRIENDS CHARGING THE BATTERY BATTERY IF YOU WORK LOW ON THE BATTERY !!!!!!

With just an OTG n USB cable, you can transfer data and a battery charge between two phones.

You need:

A) 2 phones (at least one with OTG support)

B) OTG connector

C) Usb cable.

D) file explorer such as es file explorer

Here, il is referenced by a phone that contains data and charges it as a "host", phone n to a phone that will be transferred as a "second" phone.

If your second phone is an xperia device, go to settings -> xperia connection -> usb connection

Change the usb connection mode from "MTP" to "MSC" ..

Steps:

1) Just connect the OTG cable to the host phone ...

2) The second phone will connect the USB cable. N part of usb pc. Which u connect to PC ... connect it to OTG

REMEMBER 3) In the second phone select ur storage option !!!

4) use file explorer (I used Es proxy file for better use)

BINGO .. On the main phone u you can see the memory card of the second phone as "usbdisk" ... plus .. The second phone charges the battery from the first phone ...

Works for

my xperia Z1 as a host and micromax a65 as a second phone.

my xperia Z1 as the host and micromax a116 as the second phone.

my xperia Z1 as the host and xperia M as the second phone.

my xperia M as the host and xperia z1 as the second phone.

Well, all the permutations of these phones ..

I have never tried this. But after reading the message, I think you need to save the settings on the second phone as mass storage. You can then access this phone memory on the main device. You have installed any file explorer on the host device, such as file manager or es explorer. Then I think you can see this phone memory. thanks shiva
