What is the difference between a Bootstrap template and a Bootstrap theme? I'm pretty confused. Does the theme use a template? Can I use different templates with a theme?
As cvrebert mentioned above, templates are usually a collection of predefined pages based on one theme. I recently bought a startup theme that I used as the standard for building my website for sale: themes and bootstrap templates
Think of templates as a collection of individual thematic pages :)
Usually:
The theme consists of custom CSS.
A template consists of one or more predefined HTML pages that very often (but not necessarily) also use a theme.
The template should consist of HTML files with some resources like css and images. Sometimes I see how a thematic database, for example themeforest.net and bootstrapmade.com classified their items
