Does IntelliJ IDEA have an add maven dependency helper like Eclipse and NetBeans?

NetBeans and Eclipse have small little wizards that let me search for local and remote Maven repositories and correctly add any dependency to my POM.

Does IntelliJ (community edition) support anything like that?

I'm not sure about the community release, but in the final release you would do the following:

In pom.xml press Alt + Insert . In a small popup, click Dependency .

There you can search for any artifact or class. It looks like this:

You also need to make sure that the local and remote repositories that you use have been indexed by IntelliJ. This is easy to do in Settings โ†’ Maven โ†’ Repositories (more info here )
