Restarting Remote Kernels Using IPython.parallel

How to get remote kernels to restart when I use IPython.parallel?

For example, in a regular IPython laptop, I can restart the kernel directly from the toolbar . My question is when I have remote kernels, how can I force the same operation?

See another message from @drevicko that might get what you want, even if it does not answer the specific question you posted about restarting the engines. Will engine purging have the desired effect for your case?

Client.purge_everything() Client.purge_hub_results(jobs=[], targets=[]) Client.purge_results(jobs=[], targets=[]) Client.abort(jobs=None, targets=None, block=None)
