IOS network

I read that Apple added support for mesh networks in iOS 7.1, and now I'm very curious to see some working examples and / or tutorials on how to install these things. Does anyone have any experience? Basically, I would like to start passing 2 iOS devices with each other via Wi-Fi (without any router or access point) or Bluetooth. Thanks!

Ok, I already found everything I need. On iOS, this is called Multipeer Connectivity, and here are a few documents and a tutorial: https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/MultipeerConnectivity/Reference/MultipeerConnectivityFramework/Introduction/Introduction.html

Edit: There is also a good video from Apple in the WWDC Video section: https://developer.apple.com/videos/wwdc/2014/

And here is another useful link: http://nshipster.com/multipeer-connectivity/
