How to crop a strip (width x height) in Blender VSE?

I have several videos in a Blender project with a size larger than 1280x720, which is my output dimension. Instead of rescaling my videos to fit the output size, I would like to crop them to 1280x720 pixels so that part of the scene is dropped. Thus, the remaining area will not be distorted.

How can i achieve this?

In VSE, select the strip and show the N sidebar. There you will find a panel for Strip Input that has crop settings.
