Installing the Google Web Toolkit Developer Plugin

How I work with the Google engine, I am trying to configure my first "Hello World" application in a Chrome browser

When (for the first time), I go to the URL

http://127.0.0.1:8888/MyTest.html?gwt.codesvr=127.0.0.1:9997

I'm not surprisingly getting

Ok, so I have to get the plugin from the Chrome Web Store . I don’t see anything remotely similar to the Google Web Toolkit Developer Plugin. The same goes for gwt chrome. enter link description here

What am I missing, please? How to install this plugin?

A quick fix that may help:

  • right-click the chrome icon> Properties> Shortcut
  • add to target: --enable-easy-off-store-extension-install
  • open chrome and navitage for extensions (chrome: // chrome / extensions /)
  • drag the plugin onto it (it should be in the download folder if you tried to install it earlier and failed)

Or this one:

1- Download the extension file from the website and save it to your computer.
2- Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
3- Choose Tools> Extensions.
4- Locate the extension file on your computer and drag the file onto the "Extensions" page.
5- View the list of permissions in the dialog box that appears. If you want to continue, click Install.
