Kinect v2 for Windows 7

So, I finally received two of my Kinect v2 by mail and looked forward to receiving some raw data from them and see how much they interfere with each other. I went to download the SDK, and for some reason I never noticed the requirements of Windows 8 ... As with Windows 7, it is not supported.

This seems rather fictitious and unnecessary, but I can do nothing about it. Before I spend some money upgrading my machine to the OS, which I really don't want, is there a way to get Kinect v2s to talk to a Windows 7 machine (or maybe even Ubuntu)? I don't need any fancy skeletal detection or anything else; I just need raw xyz-rgb data. I read about OpenNI (and their new Apple labels), and I was hoping that by some miracle their latest open source distributions would be compatible with Kinect v2s?

TL DR: Are there any free SDKs that can interact with Kinect v2 on Windows 7-64bit?

Windows 8 - THE MINIMUM need to develop kinect v2; you do not need to use Skeleton (kinect V1) or Body (Kinect V2) to track the body or skeleton. you need to use the MultiFrameSource class
