How to install minimum version of Metaspace in Java 8

Question

I have a problem that the default size for Metaspace is too small.

Immediately after launching my (Tomcat and Spring) web application, there is a large collection, because Metaspace is exhausted. Prior to Java 8, I could set the initial size of PermGen with -XX:PermSize . Now I am looking for the equivalent of Java 8, but so far I have been out of luck. I am using the G1 garbage collector.
