Not sure about the right place to ask this question.
Do you happen to know the date when .NET 4.5.2 will usually be installed on Azure sites?
I seem to have a very interesting problem - I recently switched my application to using HostingEnvironment.QueueBackgroundWorkItem (available only from version 4.5.2 onwards). I, although I tested it, and it worked on Azure sites (I'm 99.9999% sure that I have and worked). Then I had a demonstration planned for a potential client - and an hour before the demonstration, I started to get a method exception not found on pages that used this API call.
He is currently working at a general level. Are all the same patch levels on the Azure website servers, or can it happen that the website was moved to another server during one of the redistributions and this server had a different patch level? I just need to understand the behavior - in order to avoid a collision with this problem in the future!
Thanks Nick
