ImportError: libpng16.so.16: cannot open shared objects file: no such file or directory

Although it appeared as a topic before it did not respond. I get the following import error that I just installed the canopy from the EPD, and after I installed it, it continues to appear with the following error:

I tried reinstalling matplotlib but it still encounters an error and I cannot find the libpng16.so.16 file in \ usr \ local \ lib, can anyone help?

Check Canopy Package Manager. Make sure the matplotlib 1.3.1-8 package matplotlib 1.3.1-8 .

You can install an older version of matplotlib . Check the update section and update canopy .
