Link content from one page to another in Confluence

We have a group of Confluence pages for each team to mark leaves. Each such page consists of a table with the team, the name of the team member, month, week..etc.

Now we want to have a consolidated page that displays information about all the teams on one page. Is it possible to create a consolidated page that uses content on all other pages?

I read about macros but couldn't figure out how to use them. Can I use content from one page to another page dynamically?

Yes, you can use the Excerpt macro (to mark one section on a page as β€œpasted” and use it on another page). If you need to have several sections on one page for reuse on other pages, there is also a β€œMulti Excerpt” macro.

So, for example, if you have a page with several lines of text, you can insert an excerpt macro and paste in it all the content that you want to use on other pages:

Excerpt
(source: imagestack.net )

(in this case, I want to reuse "line 2")

On another page, you can link to this tagged content by inserting the "Excerpt Include" macro and specifying the page from which you want to extract tagged content:

Excerpt
(source: imagestack.net )

Result in this case

Excerpt
