How to set connection timeout value for pgAdmin?

I use pgAdmin to remotely connect to my database, since phpPgAdmin is a bit limited in its functions. The only problem is that I leave the SQL window open without starting the query for several minutes, then it says that I need to reconnect.

Is this the parameter I need to change in my database to extend the remote connection longer or is it the pgAdmin parameter?
