GNU screen: how to check the current scroll value?

On the GNU screen, I know that I can change the scroll (buffer size) with this command:

<Ctrl-a>:scrollback 10000

as well as adding this line to .screenrc :

defscrollback 10000

But how to check what the current value is? (To find out, looking at the .screenrc file and finding the string using defscrollback is not the solution I'm looking for.)

Thanks!

As soon as you enter the scroll mode ( Ctrl A , then Esc ), you will see a status bar, for example

 Copy mode - Column 71 Line 25(+3000) (80,25)

3000 is the size of the scroll. While you are in scroll mode, you can use Ctrl G to see a shorter version of this status bar. If you are no longer at the bottom, +3000 will be resized to show how far you have scrolled back. It shows how many lines are available above the currently displayed area, so +0 means that you scroll all the way.

You can also issue the command Ctrl-A i to get the scroll size set for this particular window.
