Can someone tell me how to interest the results from kcachegrind.
I had two versions of my code (v1, v2) compiled in debug mode. I led them through valgrind with options:
valgrind --tool=callgrind -v ....
Output files created in this way are opened in kcachegrind. Now I have already found that version v2 of the code is faster than the first version of v1, as expected. But how to make inperet the result from the kcachegrind call schedule.
In the kcachegrind All Callers , I have the following columns: Incl. , Distance, Called, Caller Incl. , Distance, Called, Caller .
IIUC, Called and caller - this is more than once when the caller called in the program. But I do not know about others.
Another thing is when you select a specific function, and then additional information is displayed on the callers tab. Ir, Ir per call, count, caller and in the types tab: "EventType, Incl. I, short, Formula.
I have no idea here.
