Open an official Wechat account using the link on an external page

I could not find any reference to this question, and I hope someone here knows.

I created an html5 ad page for a client. This page is on my server. I am passing the page address through WeChat to the client, and he resubmitting it to my friends. When they open the page, it opens in the WeChat APP browser.

So far so good.

He asked me to enter a button / link on this page, directing users to his official WeChat account. And thats where I was stuck, because I could not find any link for this, but I know that this is possible.

I found several QR codes that, when scanned through WeChat APP, open the official page inside the WeChat application. However, I could not find any way through HTML for this.

Anyone have a suggestion?

PS:

weixin://contacts/profile/name

not working for me.

The process step by step:

  • The user scans the QR code through the WeChat APP application, gets to the landing page (inside WeChat)
  • The user clicks on the link / button and is redirected to the "official page / profile" inside WeChat

Wechat used to open this function so that the user can open the url 'weixin: // contacts / profile / name' to redirect the official account page. But because of this, illegal marketing is mainly abused, the function is closed. This URL is now redirected to the store app to install the wechat app.
