Clicking a new xcode project application on top of an existing application

I have the following situation. We have an appstore application. Last week, we recreated the application and started with scatch. We also started a new xcode project.

My question is that. Can I just click on a new project as an update to an old application that is already in the appstore ?

I had this Xcode Project question for revision yesterday. All you have to do is upload the certificates, set the package identifier in the same way as the previous project, and make sure the version number is higher than the previous one. Hope this helps.

Of course, you can just make sure that the new project has the same Bundle ID of the old project and is created using the same resource allocation profile.

Yes. If you used the same package identifier, you can download the new version as a new update. Just keep in mind that when downloading a new version, verify that iTunes and the new version of the application build should be the same.
