Installshield - remove do not remove services

We have a strange problem with Installshield.

I use Installshield to install the Windows service in our DEV and QUAL environment (the same computer). The configuration files are identical (.isl, .isproj and .vspscc), but when we delete, we encounter some other behavior.

When we delete the QUAL service (they have different names), everything is fine, but when we unistall the DEV service, the service is not deleted from the list of services, nor is it deleted from registry entries.

Any idea what might cause this different behavior for an identical configuration on the same machine?

If you expand the events section of the added service (components section: additional parameters, services, your service), there will be 6 events (you may need to create a new key to see them) - one of which is “Delete Deletion”. By default, no, change it to yes and you will be good. (I also set Stop Stop to yes).
