In Google Chrome, on some web pages, the font changes for no apparent reason.

Question

I found this error in Google Chrome, which I cannot explain.

Fonts that are loaded for text sometimes change for some reason.

Here is a screenshot of the original font when loading the web page:

Here is what I see after a while:

When I start to scroll the page, the font returns to its normal state.

Does anyone know what is going on?

I have also seen this on many other sites. And even on my own web pages.

I am using Google Chrome version 31.0.1650.57 and I am on Mac OS X 10.9.

This is a known Chrome bug and is expected to be fixed in Chrome 33: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=236298
