Is Media Foundation supported on a 64-bit Windows 2012 server?

Is Media Foundation supported on a 64-bit Windows 2012 server? We cannot have Windows 7 or Windows 8 as a server and the reason we choose a Windows 2012 server.

Since NAudio 1.7 is now released, we would like to use the new functionality with Media Foundation.

Any suggestions that were highly appreciated.

Yes, you can install Media Foundation components on Windows Server 2012.

Use the Add Roles and Features wizard from Server Manager. Skip to Features and select Media Foundation .
