Winforms notification badge icons are duplicated in the system tray

I am working on a WinForms application and should show the application icon (notification icon) in the system tray. Everything works great. But when I go to the sub page from the main page and go back and check the system tray, it has 2 notifications in the system tray. Again, when I go to another page and see, another duplicate appears on the taskbar. For example, the number of notification icons increases when I go to another page and return.

If someone can advise me where I did wrong, I really appreciate it. Thanks in advance...

Since you are not giving any code, I am going to go for tricks and good guesses:

  • The logic that you implemented to create the notification icon is fired in an event that occurs when a page changes in your application. (Probably)
  • You have a chipmunk that lives inside your computer, and he felt that on Monday there was a mess with day-yes-master. (Not very likely)
