Send sms via Twilio with url

I use twilio to send SMS messages.

I have a URL in the message, but instead of showing the entire URL (which works), I need something like "Click here", which is the URL.

To clarify:

What are my SMS now: Follow this link: http://www.someurl.com

What I want: Click here to ...

Where "Click Here" is the URL, i.e. http://www.someurl.com

Since there is no such thing as markup in SMS, it is not possible to create HTML-style hyperlinks. The fact that the character string in the SMS message is recognized and becomes a hyperlink depends entirely on the device that has this feature.

As Devin says, you cannot, SMS is plain text, not html. What you can do is use a ready-made or custom shortened url (i.e.. Bit.ly) if you want the URLs to be shorter or personalized.
