Petapoco not recommended? should i use NPoco now? (2013 Q3)

I am launching several new projects and I want to use PetaPoco (I used it before in other projects) or NPoco.

I know that NPoco is a branch of PetaPoco (based on v4.x), and PetaPoco is now in version 5.x.

But it seems that although NPoco is PetaPoco + with some new features, the code bases are now slightly divergent, and changes to PetaPoco cannot be easily integrated into NPoco and vice versa.

Is PetaPoco still in development or is it outdated / in maintenance mode? Will all further development be done at NPoco?

PetaPoco is more like Done than obsolete. It is good for me. No need to add bloat to an effective product.

However, if you need a more active product, you should definitely go on the NPoco road.

Do not confuse the questions even more, but there is also AsyncPoco , the PetaPoco v5 plug, which adds asynchrony to those on .NET 4.5 or higher. I can’t talk about the development status of PetaPoco, but if there are errors that have remained unanswered or requests for unanswered requests, feel free to create problems / pull requests for AsyncPoco. At the moment I do not have any roadmap for version 1.1, but I am open to suggestions and ready to move the project forward if there is interest.
