Ubuntu shortcuts disturbing my fast PHP Storm shortcuts

Question

I use PHP Storm on Ubuntu 13. When I click the shortcut alt-f1, which should run PHP-Storm (Navigation-show-in), nothing happens because I assume that the shortcut maps to Ubuntu Desktop. So what can I do to get alt-f1 working in PHP Storm.

(I do not want to reassign the team, as I’m so mentally used to)

Please follow this feature request to provide a convenient Ubuntu layout that will not conflict with the default system shortcuts (which always take precedence).
