PHP media manager how wordpress media uploader?

I just love the ease with which Wordpress makes downloading and managing photos and media so effortlessly.

I wanted to implement something like the WordPress Media Uploader on my NON-WORDPRESS PHP site. The problem is that I really could not find the good so far.

A few of the features I'm looking for:

  • The upload file in it is exactly the same as WP with the success of uploading the file.
  • Does not use Flash to download. This is really important.
  • Drag and drop is also possible?
  • A file manager that shows all the files that are also downloaded.
  • Is something possibly free? (Now I get greed: P)

I found out that the media manager uses Plupload to download it, if I'm not mistaken. And even MoxieManager seems like a good manager. However, this is not free.

Is there an alternative? Or would I have to make my own from scratch?
