Can I download the new beta version of the APK on Google Play and delete the existing APK?

I want to deactivate the production APK, download the beta version of the APK, save my changes and publish.

Now I’m in a situation where I can’t get the beta link because my application is not published. I am fine with the publication, but I do not want my production application to be published. This is why I want to deactivate the production APK.

Google Play does not allow me to save changes. It says: “Check for errors in the form” (no errors). I found that when I leave the production APK and download the new beta version of the APK, then I can save the changes (again, this is not what I want).

Am I missing something or is it impossible outside of downloading a dummy APK or creating a completely new application?

why don’t you first publish the beta and then publish the production application.

Also try a different browser. Chrome or Firefox.
