Any good tutorial on FakeItEasy

We are considering using FakeItEasy in our funny structure.

To conduct a workshop for the FakeItEasy team, I am looking for a good tutorial that explains this structure in many ways. I tried looking at the documentation on github, but found this very concise.

If you know a good page / video, could you please point me. Thanks.

Have you looked at the Patrik HΓ€gne sample / tutorial ? This is a bit old, but may help.

As you noticed, there may be several flushes in the documentation. We are working on it.

An alternative would be the PluralSight FakeItEasy course . I watched it and thought it was good. I think it's short enough to watch as part of their free trial.

I, I was familiar with mocking concepts and just tried. Free syntax guided me quite well. Try it - you may be pleasantly surprised.

I suggest you find the "general purpose" tutorial on Mocking and update it using the FakeItEasy API. Some time ago, I wrote a simple tutorial using Moq and Isolator, which is a good place to start:

This is the basic Mocking feature shared by all Mocking environments. There are other similar tutorials on the Internet - just Google.

Remember that most of the functionality of FakeItEasy is accessible from the same entry point - β€œA.”, just study the API and the minimal documentation to find out how to do this.
