SharePoint 2010 workflows do not work unexpectedly

I had this problem and looked for a solution to no avail.

Case A: We have a SharePoint 2010 site that contains a list of the SharePoint Designer workflow. Now everything works fine, the workflow starts when elements are created, etc., and then for a fairly long time when no one edited anything, the workflow simply stopped working, there was no status in the workflow column, and there simply are no workflow actions what happens on this list, did anyone come across this / know a solution for this?

Situation B: We have a SharePoint 2010 site, the same as above, we have a list that comes with the SharePoint developer workflow. Now this workflow is interrupted, it just suddenly does not work on creating an element, and also is not in the columns of the workflow. It happens that we tried to edit an element and save it again several times before it starts. Any idea what is going on?

EDIT: according to check, I can manually start the workflow.

Sometimes workflow options may return to “No new instances” when deploying changes to a workflow. You can check it out.

Otherwise, this does not look like you have DelayActivity, but this has historically been a place where workflows might hang due to the error I was working with on this blog: http: //the-simple-programmer.blogspot. com / 2012/10 / sharepoint-workflow-delay-activity.html

You basically need to run:

stsadm -o setproperty -pn job-workflow -pv "Every 5 minutes between 0 and 59" -url http://yoursite

Check the list of transaction history. You can get a clear idea of how to stop the workflow.

I doubt this is the reason, but is there any chance that someone has disabled Workflows features from the site’s settings.
