A good question, unfortunately, there is no way to fully automate this; however, there is one important thing here, which implies that you donβt even have to wrap any of your custom tags, and I also have a manual workaround that will save you time if you really want to wrap them.
First, if you use custom tags only in templates, you probably don't need to wrap tags. A custom tag definition is embedded in the xml of your templates, so the system should have enough information to display and use them in your envelopes, as expected.
However, if you use them elsewhere and / or want them to appear in the user tag area in your production account settings to change them, you can do the following to save some time:
- Create and save the template in the demo version, which has all the user tags that you want to transfer.
- Transfer the template by downloading the xml template from the demo and uploading it to your production account.
- Open the template and for each tab that you want to translate twice, and select Save As Custom . This in turn will add a custom tag to your production account.
Unfortunately, the fastest way to transfer custom tags at the moment, but, as already mentioned, you may not need to do this at all - your envelopes still have all the information they need to work correctly in the production process.
