USB does not detect in oracle virtualbox on Mac OS

My operating system is window 8 and I am running Mac OS in a virtual box. I have successfully installed Mac OS on the oracle virtual box, but when I used my Pen drive it is not detected on Mac OS. I have external software for USB devices for the virtual expansion pack 4.2.16 , but my problem is not resolved.

Please check my screenshots. Please help me and solve my problem ...

Thanks.

I click the "Add Filter" button and select my USB, and then the virtual box automatically detects this information. Then I am OK and launched Mac OS.

Mac OS will start when I go to the virtual box menu, and select the option Devices-> USB Devices-> Kingston Data Traveler G3 [100] . when I came across this type of error.

Please solve my problem.

Thanks.

First of all, format your USB device as fat32. Then open the virtual box and go to the USB option and uncheck the box labeled ENABLE USB 2.0 (ECHI) CONTROLLER . And then open mac and plug in USB ... This works for me .. :)

If the USB storage device is still declared by the host operating system, it will not be available for your virtual operating system. I would recommend right-clicking the drive and selecting “Eject”. Then try to connect the drive to your virtual OS.

I have an Oracle Virtual Box installed on my Windows 8 system. I run Windows XP in a virtual box and sometimes experience problems loading my USB flash drive. The only thing I found is that it works to remove the flash drive and plug it into another USB port. I also know that some USB drives work better when connected to a USB port on a computer, rather than connecting to a USB hub.
